Robert John Edgar

Robert John Edgar is currently the Chairman of Hudson Institute of Medical Research.
He is also the Non-executive Chairman of RF Eclipse Ltd. and serves as a Non-Executive Director for Transurban Infrastructure Management Ltd., Transurban Holdings Ltd., and Transurban International Ltd. In his former roles, Dr. Edgar served as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. He was the Chairman of Vicinity Centres and Rabinov Property Trust, and also served as the Executive Chairman of Prince Henry's Institute of Medical Research.
Additionally, he was the Chairman of Vicinity Ltd. (Australia), Federation Centres Ltd., and La Trobe Financial Services Pty Ltd. He held the position of Independent Non-Executive Director at Transurban Group Ltd., AMMB Holdings Bhd., Nufarm Ltd., Pacific National Holdings Pty Ltd., Linfox Armaguard Pty Ltd., and Transurban Ltd. He also served as a Director for Bank of Tianjin Co. Ltd. and Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd.Dr. Edgar completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Adelaide and obtained a doctorate degree from The Ohio State University.
