Ronald W. Thompson

Ronald W.
Thompson is General Manager of Washington County Water Conservancy District.
He is a Member the Utah State Bar and the Utah Water Development Coalition and a Director of the St. George Washington Canal Co. and the St. George Valley Irrigation Co. Mr. Thompson is Trustee of the Utah Water Finance Agency and the State of Utah Drinking Water Board and the Utah Representative for the National Water Resources Endangered Species Task Force.
Prior to joining Washington County Water Conservancy District, he was a Director of the Statewide Association of Prosecutors, the Utah Association of Counties and the Utah Association of Special Districts.
Previously, he was President of the Utah Water Users Association and Vice-Chairman of the Resolutions Committee for the National Water Resources Association and the Resolutions Committee for the Colorado River Water Users.
Mr. Thompson received a degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University (UT) in 1971 and a Law degree from the University of Utah in 1974.
