Olivotto Glass Technologies SpA provides engineering, manufacture, installation and commissioning services of hollow glass forming plants, systems and machines. It operates through the following business units: Tableware; Tubes and Lighting and Technical Glasses. The company was founded in 1946 and is headquartered in Avigliana, Italy.

The Olivotto Company was born in 1946 from an idea of its founder Mr. Vanfrido Olivotto. The constant evolution and technology improvements led the Company to gain a leader position in engineering, manufacturing and commissioning industrial machineries and turn-key plants. Olivotto Industries is nowadays a well known capital investment manufacturer, acting in two main industrial sector: Industrial furnaces for heating and heat treatments Forming lines and machines for the production of hollow glass items Thanks to the extremely high and continuously improving technological level, as well to the reliability of its products, the Company has consolidated its worldwide market in both mentioned application fields, and her trade names daily operates all over the world. In 2003 the Olivotto Industries technological field has been expanded by incorporating the Company Ing. F. Ferrè & C. S.p.A., which has operated since 1927 in the engineering, manufacturing and commissioning of industrial furnaces. In the same year Olivotto Industries acquired the hollow glass machines branch of ANTAS S.p.A. , a Company with long-standing traditions and experience in the engineering and manufacturing of forming machines for the hollow glass industry, full complementary to the traditional Olivotto Industries market range. At the beginning of year 2004, the Private Equity Fund NATIXIS CAPE became an Olivotto Industries shareholder (40% through a capital increase), for supporting and participating the strategic plan of the company. In June 2007 the United States Company Lynch Systems (now Lynch Technologies) has been acquired. A corporation that traces its roots back to 1914, one of the oldest hollow glasses forming machines manufacturer in the world. Recently, on April 2008, the assets of W. Lindner Maschinen (Germany) have been acquired. A very well known company with large experience for high quality production machines in all types of glass (lead crystal, soda-lime, and borosilicate). Nowadays the two historical divisions are two specialized Companies of the Olivotto Industries Group: Olivotto Glass Technologies S.p.A., active in the Hollow Glass forming technologies, operates the OLIVOTTO, ANTAS, LYNCH and LINDNER trade marks, technology and know-how. Olivotto Ferrè S.p.A. , active in the Industrial Furnaces technologies, operates the OLIVOTTO, FERRE', BERNOTTI and BIOTECO trade marks, technology and know-how. Technological innovation and research of advanced technical solutions are constant targets of the Olivotto Industries Group daily activities.
