Catt is Partner & Vice Chairman at GMP Securities Europe LLP.
Mr. Catt helped establish GMP Europe in 2006 as a Partner.
Mr. Catt has spent much of his career in mining equity sales, including a decade in equity sales in London for Australian and Canadian investment dealers.
He moved to London in 1998 from Sydney where he worked with Australian resources specialist broker Hartley Poynton.
In 1998, Royal Bank of Canada added an Australian leg to its global mining group by buying a minority stake in Hartley Poynton.
He became a Director of RBC and was the senior producer on the RBC London equity desk before leaving in March 2004.
In June 2004, he helped establish the London office of a competitor.
