Teresa Sun

Teresa joined LGP as Head of Tax in 2022.
Prior to LGP, Teresa was the Global Head of Tax at Beach Point Capital Management LP, which she joined in 2014.
Prior to Beach Point, she was a tax attorney at Sidley Austin LLP.
Teresa began her career as a tax attorney at Clearly, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in New York and then worked at Ernst &Young LLP’s Transaction Advisory Group in Los Angeles.
Teresa earned a BBA in finance and an MBA in finance and accounting from University of Wisconsin at Madison, a JD from The University of Texas School of Law, and an LL.M in taxation from New York University School of Law.
Teresa is admitted to the bar in New York and California.
