Mr. Thomas Gomes is a Portfolio Manager at Lorica Investment Counsel, Inc. He is a shareholder and portfolio manager at its inception in 2010.
Together with Gary Morris, he is responsible for the management of fixed income assets for Lorica’s clients.

Prior to joining Lorica, Mr. Gomes was employed at Laketon Investment Management (now a division of GLC Asset Management Group Ltd.), having collaborated with Gary Morris since joining Laketon in June of 2000.
At Laketon, he demonstrated a keen sense for the credit markets, successfully applying his accounting and finance background to the analysis of the provincial, corporate and securitized bond markets.
Before joining Laketon, he worked for Canada Trust in securities lending and relationship management.
He graduated from the University of Toronto in 2000 with a BComm (double major in Finance and Accounting).
He received his CFA designation in 2003 and US CPA designation in 2007.
