Mr. Thruston B. Morton, III, is Founder at Global Endowment Management LP.
He co-founded the firm in March 2007.
Mr. Morton served as CEO and CIO of the Duke University Management Company from 2000-2007 where he managed a $7.7 billion portfolio.
Prior to his time at DUMAC, he held banking, portfolio manager and senior advisor roles at JP Morgan in the US and abroad.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of DUMAC, The Conservation Fund (Arlington, VA), and TreesCharlotte.
He is a former board member of The Investment Fund for Foundations and The Triangle Land Conservancy (Raleigh, NC), and he served two terms on the Rockefeller Foundation's Finance & Investment Committee.
Mr. Morton graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Southeast Asian History (honors) from Brown University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
