PCM is an active manager which invests in young, high growth companies in the high-tech, communications, ICT, software & services, multimedia, biotech, healthcare and more classical business sectors which are located in a radius of approximately 500 km around Brussels. The firm seeks to invest from EUR 0.25-1.25 million in young, superbly managed companies with superior growth, the ability to be international market leaders, proprietary technologies, a clear route to exit, on-going revenues from an existing product or service, and which are at, or have almost reached their break-even point. They take significant minority stakes in their investee companies, typically investing in syndication with other investors but also taking lead investor positions. PCM partners with their investee companies, providing them with a range of support including making introductions to their domestic and international contacts, helping to recruit talented people, assisting management to develop business and financial strategies and preparing for private and public financing. Investment decisions require a unanimous decision by the firm's Management Team, followed by approval by the Investment Committee. In case of a disagreement, management can revert to the PCM board of directors where they will require a two-thirds majority approval before being able to make the final investment decision.
