Woodley Preucil

Mr. Woodley B. Preucil, CFA, is a Senior Managing Director at 13D Research & Strategy LLC.
He has been instrumental in driving the growth of 13D’s business for over 35 years by being actively involved in the identification, development, and analysis of many of the firm’s core investment themes.
Three key areas he focuses his research on are: (1) the implications of climate change, including water scarcity, agriculture, and clean energy; (2) global security, including military, homeland security, cybersecurity, and bioterrorism/public health; and (3) disruptive technologies that provide solutions to economic problems and transform industries.
Woody guides a team of analysts and leads the firm’s cutting-edge research to focus on several key converging technologies that drive innovation across the global economy.
Mr. Preucil received a BA in Economics and Accounting from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1983, has been a Chartered Financial Analyst since 1987, and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.
