His civic activity includes an active role as Chairman of the Board of California Pacific Medical Center’s Foundation.
He is the past Chairman of the Corporate Board of CPMC, past President of the Olympic Club Foundation, past Regent of St. Ignatius College Preparatory, and past Vice President of The Guardsmen.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of San Francisco and an MBA from Golden Gate University.
