David E. Ruiz

Mr. David E.
Ruiz is Head of Research & Investments at Serone Capital Management LLP.
He is reponsible for investment analysis and execution.
He has been purchasing and managing distressed investment opportunities and portfolios across Europe, Asia, and South America for 12 years.
He has been working in various capacities for a number of different institutions including CarVal U.K.
Ltd (CVI), JPMorgan Real Estate Structured Finance / Principal Finance, and GE Capital's Global Financial Restructuring team.
His previous roles included business management, strategy, deal sourcing, transaction underwriting, structuring and pricing, as well as contract negotiations, asset and portfolio management.
He has been involved in the purchase of over USD 25 billion in assets across asset classes including; consumer, SME, retail, commercial, corporate, real estate secured and structured credit.
Mr. Ruiz has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina and a Master in International Business from the Moore School of Business.
He speaks Spanish and French fluently.
