Headquartered in Madid, the firm was founded in 2003 to utilize their pension fund management experience and to offer a range of investment funds for all risk profiles.

BBVA Asset Management SA SGIIC (BBVA-AM) is the asset management subsidiary of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA (BME: BBVA, ADR: BBVA) in Spain. Founded in 1979 as BBV Gestinova, the firm became BBVA Gestión in 2000 when BBV Gestinova and Argentaria Gestión merged and was rebranded as BBVA-AM in 2008. They are headquartered in Madrid and manage pension plans and participate in the Latin American markets of Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. BBVA-AM also manages a range of investment mandates for insurance companies, employment plans and corporate clients through their platform in Luxembourg.
