Prior to co-founding Oarsman Capital in 2000, Mr. Purintun was First Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Baird Investment Management and Principal and Portfolio Manager with Marietta Investment Partners, LLC.
Before joining Baird, he spent six years as an intelligence officer with the U.S.
Central Intelligence Agency in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Purintun received his MBA degree, with honors, from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and a BA degree, magna cum laude, in History from Yale University.
He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1997.
