EpiSpeed AG operates as a technology enabler for the semiconductor industry and its suppliers. The company develops and processes applications for plasma-enhanced epitaxy, chemical vapor deposition (LEPECVD) and vapor phase epitaxy (LEPEVPE). The firm provides sampling wafers to device manufacturers, and licenses the respective intellectual property rights (IPR). EpiSpeed was founded in May 2003 by Hans von Känel, Bernhard Vogeli and Matthias Kummer and is headquartered in Zürich, Switzerland.
