Beverly A. Brown

Dr. Beverly A.
Brown is a Director-Development at Boston University Office of Technology Development.
Prior to joining the Boston University, she was the Chief Development Officer for the Center for Integration of Medicine and Innovative Technology (CIMIT) for six years, creating their program to seek nongovernmental funding which raised over $10 million to launch new programs, create fellowships, and support research.
She led the charge in fundraising for CIMIT’s Global Health Initiative as well, providing significant understanding of the funding landscape for global health.
Her affiliation with Boston University began in 2005 when her husband, Robert A.
Brown, PhD, became the tenth University President.
Dr. Brown, holds a PhD in biochemistry from University of Minnesota at Minneapolis, an MA in chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, and a BS in medical technology from Incarnate University in San Antonio, Texas.
