Bill Redmond

Mr. Bill Redmond is Chairman at Okanagan Innovation Fund, Inc. He brings a wealth of experience to OIF.
He founded HRI Supply in 1978 and grew the company into the largest distributor of food and related products to the Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional trade in the BC Interior.
HRI Supply merged with Sysco Corp in May 2001.
He served as President & CEO until his retirement in June 2004.
He was also an owner/member and a Director of the Associated Food Distributors, Canada’s largest buying group of wholesale foodservice distributors.
Mr. Redmond has also been very active in the community.
He is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Kelowna and an active member since 1984.
He was Chairman of the Kelowna All-club Arts Centre Fundraising Committee (a medical mission to perform surgical repairs to children with cleft lop and palate anomalies), a Quartermaster of the Protoplast mission to Batagas, Phillippiines 2004, and Chairman- Rotary Pro-Am Golf Tournament Committee.
Mr. Redmond was most recently Chairman of the Kelowna Roads Task Force and Chairman of the Councilors Indemnity Review Committee.
