Before joining the firm in 1989, Mr. Burke spent thirty years with MeadWestvaco Corp., a large forest products firm.
While with Mead, his responsibilities transitioned from engineering into production, sales, sales and marketing management, administration and finance roles.
In his last 12 years with Mead, he served as Division President of two divisions, both of which operated multiple paper mills and processing plants in several states.
Mr. Burke earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1958, and attended the Harvard Graduate School of Business Advanced Management Program in 1981.
