Many of their growers have been producing for Woodheads for more than 30 years. Although 90% of their seed comes from Woodheads growers, they look for the best seed at the best value when they buy additional stocks. As members of PRISM (Private Retail Independent Seed Merchants) they are able to deal directly with Plant Breeders and they are often able to offer EXCLUSIVE varieties. It is also interesting to note that 20-25% of cereal seed trade in the UK is through PRISM members. They offer the highest quality cereal seed and superlative grass seed for both agricultural and amenity use. All of their seed goes through rigorous DEFRA Standard inspections and is independently tested.
