Gerald L. Massey

Gerald Massey has nearly two decades of experience growing public and private companies.
The essence of Gerald's management style can be compared to the passion he has for his hobby of collecting "VW Bugs." When he acquired a recent model, he felt compelled to upgrade to the "Turbo" version.
Gerald knows that classic elements are always important.
However, in today's business environment, the "classics" need to be invoked with turbo-charged urgency and greater efficiency.
Prior to Fios, Gerald served as executive vice president, west region, for Covansys, a global technology services company.
Gerald also spent more than 10 years with EDS (NYSE: EDS), the global information technology services company founded by Ross Perot.
Massey served in a number of executive capacities at EDS, including vice president of sales and marketing of commercial services, vice president of state and local government sales, and vice president of business process management.
He has helped grow a number of other companies, including CSX Corporation (NYSE: CSX) and Portland-based software start-up ABC Technologies.
An advocate for growth businesses in the Pacific Northwest, in 2004 Gerald was recognized as a leader in the entrepreneurial community as a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year in both the Ernst & Young and Oregon Entrepreneurs Network programs.
