Guy Toms

Mr. Guy Toms is an Executive Director at Prescient Investment Management (Pty) Ltd.
He is on the Board of Directors at Prescient Holdings (Pty) Ltd.
He works as Head of Interest Bearing and investment strategist and is widely respected in the investment management industry in the field of asset allocation, bond and derivative management.
Mr. Toms worked as a bond analyst and manager, and as derivative specialist at asset management houses including Colonial Mutual, Cape Gilt Investments and Southern Life.
From 1991 to1993, he managed a gilt fund portfolio which remained consistently first in its category.
At Investec, he worked as a bond manager and was responsible for all derivative exposure in the pension funds.
He then joined District Securities Bank where he was later appointed a Bank Director.
Mr. Toms graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Mathematical Economics.
