Coggshall is Partner & Portfolio Manager at Tiburon Partners LLP.
He has over 20 years experience of investing in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
He joined Tiburon in 2006 and is responsible for Tiburon’s Greater China products.
He started his fund management career in Taiwan in 1992.
In 1999, he was appointed as a Senior Analyst at ABN Amro in Taipei where he worked as one of a small team of analysts on the number one rated research team.
In 2001, he joined Martin Currie Investment Management in Edinburgh, Scotland as a Senior Portfolio Manager co-managing a broad product line of Greater China funds including pooled vehicles, segregated accounts and a long/short fund.
He was also the Manager of the Taiwan Opportunities Fund.
During his time at Martin Currie, he was a leading Member of the investment team that built the Greater China specialist product from US$300m to US$1.5b in assets.
Mr. Coggshall graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies and also has a Postgraduate degree from the Southern Connecticut State University.
He speaks fluent Mandarin.
