John Carlin

Mr. Carlin joined Gulf Stream in 2003.
Prior to that, he was a Managing Director on the Loan Syndicate Desk at Wachovia Securities.
In this role, he was responsible for final pricing and structure on Wachovia led transactions and any unsold portion of a Wachovia led syndicated loan.
Additionally, he was responsible for monitoring the loan market to determine pricing, structure and investor supply trends.
From 1999 to 2001, he was the Head of Primary Loan Sales and was responsible for the distribution of all Wachovia led transactions and investor development.
From 1997 to 1999, he was a Senior Vice President in the Loan Syndications Group responsible for structuring and underwriting Wachovia led loan syndications including transactions in broadcasting, entertainment, telecommunications, general industrial, business services, energy, chemicals, and retail.
He has several years of banking and capital markets experience.
Mr. Carlin holds a BA from the University of Rochester and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
