Mr. Seay began his investment career with The Trust Company of Virginia, where he managed municipal bond portfolios for high net worth clients.
Immediately prior to his association with Kanawha, Mr. Seay was a Vice President at SunTrust Private Wealth Management, developing client solutions in the areas of financial and retirement planning, insurance, estate, and income tax evaluation.
He has also held positions at both regional and national brokerage firms.
Mr. Seay is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College (B.A., Economics/Business, 2003) and completed further studies in international economics at Wroxton College in Banbury, England.
Additionally, he has earned the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner.
