Maggie Chau

Ms. Maggie Chau, CFA MBA, is a Research Analyst at Vontobel Asset Management Asia Pacific Ltd.
She joined the firm in July 2017 and manages generalist assisting the CIO and Portfolio Managers in company research and stock selection.
Prior to joining Vontobel, Ms. Chau worked as an Equity Research Summer Associate for William Blair & Company (Summer 2016).
She previously held positions as a Finance Consultant at Ackotec Plating Ltd.
(2014-2015) and as a Manager, Capital Projects Business Planning and Performance Measurement at Barrick Gold Corporation (2012-2014).
Ms. Chau began her financial career as an Associate, Audit and Assurance Services and then as a Manager, Corporate Tax at Pricewater House Coopers, LLP (2006-2012).
She received a Bachelor of Mathematics and Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo in 2008 and 2009, respectively.
Ms. Chau received her MBA from the Yale School of Management in 2017.
She is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario as a CPA, CA and a member of the Illinois CPA society as a CPA.
Ms. Chau is a CFA charter holder.
