Michael A. Blaustein

Along with his current position with GEM Capital, Mr. Blaustein joined Matrix USA (investment banking) in February 2008, and serves as Director of the company.
Prior to joining Matrix, he worked at Lehman Brothers from 1996 until 2007.
He began at Lehman Brothers specializing in institutional convertible securities, based in New York.
After relocating to London in 2000, he acted as a Managing Director and head of the international convertible securities department, responsible for Europe and Asia.
There, his responsibilities included managing risk, sales and research product.
Returning to New York in 2003, Mr. Blaustein operated in various investment roles at Lehman, focusing on capital structure arbitrage, long/short equities, private placements and convertible arbitrage.
His career began in the securities industry in 1987 in institutional convertible securities sales at First Boston.
Mr. Blaustein graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A.
in Economics and Political Science.
