Oppenheim Investment Managers SAS (OIM) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sal. Oppenheim (France), which is the French investment management arm of Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie, a European private bank based in Cologne, Germany and controlled by the Oppenheim family. Based in Paris, OIM originated in 1988 as Atlas Gestion SAS and was acquired in 1991 by BHF-Bank AG which became part of Sal. Oppenheim in 2006. Atlas Gestion was renamed OIM in 2009. OIM manages a diverse range of mutual funds and focuses on long-only strategies while their fellow subsidiary Altigefi specializes in alternative investments through a fund of hedge funds approach. Their clients are institutions and corporations as well as intermediaries. Institutional clients include insurance companies, pension funds and non-profit organizations. Corporate clients include diversely-sized French and international companies. OIM has a strategic alliance with Al Istitmar Chaâbi, a Moroccan asset management subsidiary of Groupe Banque Populaire.
