Milena Wuketich

Ms. Milena Wuketich is a Researcher at Institut für Höhere Studien.
Milena Wuketich has worked as a researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies, Vienna (IHS) since 2014 as part of the research group ‘Techno-Science and Societal Transformation.’ Currently, she is working on her dissertation about implant technology at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Vienna.
She was involved in several international projects regarding responsible research and innovation, investigating citizen science as a form of citizen involvement, analyzing participation activities of the Austrian society to cope with intense refugee movements, or preparing a survey among the Austrian Jewish population about their experiences with Antisemitism.
Other projects include evaluating funding programs for participatory projects on ethical, legal, and social questions in the modern life sciences, the development of digital teaching instruments, and the conduction of (participatory) technology assessments of different genetic technologies.
Before that, she worked as a research assistant at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, and the IHS.
She studied Sociology and Theatre, Film, and Media Studies at the Universities of Vienna and Malta.
