Dr. Philipp Massier is an Economist at Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH.
He joined ZEW’s Research Department “Environmental and Resource Economics, Environmental Management” as a researcher in February 2012.
His main research interest includes the analysis of the impact of energy and climate policies on firms.
Dr. Massier was a visiting researcher at the Department of Agricultural & Resource Economics at the University of California in Berkeley.
He studied industrial engineering and economics at the Technical University of Darmstadt and the Tampere University of Technology in Finland.
In February 2018, he received his doctoral degree in economics from the University of Münster.
