(SBIFM) is an independent India-based mutual fund management firm which was founded in 1992 as a joint venture between State Bank of India (63%) and Societe Generale SA (37%) in France. In 2009, Societe Generale and Credit Agricole SA merged their global asset management businesses, and in 2011, Amundi SA (owned 75% by Credit Agricole and 25% by Societe Generale) acquired Societe Generale's stake.
