Smith, CFA MBA, is a Partner & Senior Portfolio Manager at Gould Asset Management LLC.
He joined the firm in 2004.
In his role, he provides ongoing expert management of client investment portfolios, with an emphasis on Gould’s asset allocation and covered-call writing strategies.
He also oversees the firm’s investment technology initiatives.
Prior to 2004, Mr. Smith worked as a business and litigation consultant for Tucker Alan Inc (now Navigant Consulting) where he performed financial and economic analyses, developed financial models, and conducted market and company-specific research.
He received a BA in economics, with honors, from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from the Peter F.
Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at the Claremont Graduate University.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Los Angeles.
