Shivani Bhasin

Ms. Shivani Bhasin has over 9 years of transaction experience in USA and India, with 8 years of private equity experience.
Prior to joining IDFC Private Equity, she was with Lightyear Capital, a private equity fund based in New York, where she was responsible for evaluating middle-market buyouts, growth equity and venture investment opportunities as well as monitoring select portfolio companies in the financial services sector.
Prior to joining Lightyear, she was at the private equity arm of General Electric, where she executed transactions and monitored investments in the consumer sector.
She started her career at Credit Suisse First Boston’s Investment Banking Division.
She received an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Economics from Mount Holyoke College (Phi-Beta-Kappa, Magna Cum Laude, Sarah Williston Scholar).
