Tarek Osman

Mr. Tarek Osman is a Director with Alcazar Capital Limited.
He is a member of the telecoms team, and is responsible for business development in Egypt and North Africa.
Prior to joining Alcazar Capital Limited, Mr. Osman led the corporate finance division of Bahrain-based Addax Investment Bank for three years.
In that capacity, Mr. Osman led a number of acquisition and principal investment transactions in telecoms, media, education, hospitality and information technology.
In 2007, Addax was voted Best New Investment Bank in MENA by Banker Magazine.
Prior to joining Addax, Tarek Osman spent four years in London with Spectrum Value Partners, a strategy and investment-advisory house, focused on the telecoms and media sectors.
In that role, he led execution mandates on transactions ranging from US$10million to US1.2billion, and has participated in post-acquisition turnaround programmes.
Mr. Osman started his career at the strategy team of EME Holdings, an investment holding company in Egypt.
Mr. Osman holds an MBA in finance from Bocconi University in Italy, and a BA in Business Administration from The American University in Cairo.
