Robeco Institutional Asset Management BV (RIAM) is the Netherlands-based asset management subsidiary of Robeco Europe NV, itself a subsidiary of ORIX Corp. (TYO: 8591, ADR: IX), a Japanese business conglomerate that started operations in 1964. Headquartered in Rotterdam, the firm was founded in 1929 and provides investment products and services to institutional and private clients through locations in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia. The firm was founded in 1991 as an asset manager purely focused on systematic trading strategies, approximately half of the Transtrend team is dedicated to research & development. Headquartered in Rotterdam, they offer investment management through the development and application of systematic trading strategies to a range of professional investors including prominent banks, investment funds, pools and family offices.
