V. Sriram

When Sriram joined Sahara Asset Management Company as Head of the Fixed Income division, he brought with himself a deep understanding of the debt market.
His unmatched expertise comes from his twenty-six-year tenure at Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI), where he was Deputy General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
Sriram was involved with the raising of resources through private placement of bonds and other instruments.
For five years, he managed the integrated treasury of IDBI, assessing cash flows, preparing interest rate reports and investing in various money market/debt instruments within the specified risk management framework of the bank.
Sriram also provided technical analysis support to the investment department.
He has also supervised the back office of the Treasury department.
Sriram has attended scores of national and international seminars and programmes related to treasury management.
He is a former member of the FEDAI and Valuation committee of FIMMDA.
He holds a postgraduate degree in Chemistry and a diploma in Management Studies.
