Estimados señores:

Por la presente damos respuesta a su carta de fecha 4 de octubre de 2023, mediante la cual nos informan respecto del oficio de la referencia (el "Oficio") emitido por la Superintendencia del Mercado de Valores. A continuación, encontrarán nuestras respuestas a los puntos contenidos en el Oficio.

1. Revelar, de manera detallada, toda la información actualizada sobre el proceso de negociación en curso entre el Grupo Enel y ACTIS y cualquier información asociada a la venta de ENEL GENERACION PIURA:

2. Considerando la información difundida en los medios de comunicación, aclarar o desmentir sobre la factibilidad que las negociaciones lleguen a concretarse antes de noviembre de 2023:

3. Considerando que en la nota de prensa publicada en el portal web de la revista Semana Económica del 24 de setiembre de 2023, titulada «Actis va por la compra de Enel Generación» se indica que: «Si bien el monto final de la transacción aún se desconoce, esta superaría los US$2,500 millones, de acuerdo con otra fuente enterada de las negociaciones», deberá aclarar o desmentir sobre el valor al que se venderían las acciones de ENEL GENERACION PIURA, en el marco del mencionado proceso de negociación:

We hereby respond to your letter dated October 4, 2023, in which you inform us regarding the Official Letter (the "Official Letter") issued by the Superintendencia del Mercado de Valores. Please find below our responses to the points contained in the Official Letter.

1. Disclose, in detail, all updated information on the ongoing negotiation process between the Enel Group and ACTIS and any information associated with the sale of ENEL GENERACION PIURA:
