Formerly known as Oddo Meriten Asset Management SAS, the firm was founded in 1978 as WestLB Mellon Asset Management KAG mbH. From 2006 to 2012, they operated as a joint venture between BNY Mellon and Portigon AG (formerly WestLB AG). Oddo BHF AM provides investment advisory products and services to a range of institutional and wholesale clients including German savings banks and credit institutions, corporations, insurance companies and pension funds. They are a socially responsible investor which engages in various charitable activities including supporting the Kinderzukunft Foundation and the Children's Food Bank in Dusseldorf.
