The firm was founded by Adam de Chiara and Bradford Klein in 2003 as Jefferies Asset Management LLC and changed their name to CoreCommodity Management LLC in 2012. They are a subsidiary of CoreCommodity Capital LLC, which is owned by CoreManagement LLC. CoreCommodity provides investment management services to sovereign wealth funds, public and corporate pensions, endowments and foundations, and other prominent institutional clients seeking commodities exposure.
