Brenda Langenfeld

Ms. Brenda A.
Langenfeld, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Nuveen Asset Management LLC.
She is responsible for the Preferred Securities and Income Strategy and related institutional portfolios.
She joined the Preferred Securities Sector Team in 2011.
She is also a co-manager for the Real Asset Income Strategy, which invests in income-generating debt and equity securities from both the real estate and infrastructure segments, since 2015.
Ms. Langenfeld started working in the financial services industry in 2004 when she joined the firm.
Prior to her portfolio management roles, she was a member of the High-Grade Credit Sector Team, responsible for trading corporate bonds.
Previously, she was a member of the Securitized Debt Sector Team, trading mortgage-backed securities, asset backed securities and commercial mortgage-backed securities.
Ms. Langenfeld was previously employed as a Principal by US Bancorp Asset Management, Inc. Ms. Langenfeld is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, she received a B.B.A.
in finance and international business.
She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
