The firm originated in 1997 and was reorganized in 2004. The current entity represents the combined asset management activities of Compagnie 1818 Banquiers Privés SA and Banque Privée Saint Dominique SA, merged in 2009. Based in Paris, 11818 Gestion manages assets on behalf of Banque Privée 1818, as well as a range of mutual funds (SICAVs and FCPs) and discretionary accounts for institutional investors and private individuals.
