Mr. Christian Fuest joined WestLB at the end of 1994, where he was Chief Operating Officer in the equities business unit until 1999.
Since October 1999, as Head of Corporate Broking, Christian Fuest has been responsible for the
post-IPO coverage of corporate clients within the framework of designated sponsorship.
Since the beginning of 2003, he was Head of Equity Capital Markets.
Since May 2009, in his role as Head of Equity Solutions he heads both the Equity
Capital Market as well as the Mezzanine business of the bank.
After graduating in business studies (Diplom-Kaufmann),
Mr. Fuest gained practical experience as a product development and strategic marketing specialist at Deutsche Terminbörse in Frankfurt/Main.
In this function, he was responsible for introducing new derivatives in close co-operation with the members of Deutsche Terminbörse.
