David J. Williams

David Williams has a degree and an MSc in Business Studies followed by 17 years in venture capital.
As Regional Managing director for 3i he was responsible for investment of £150m pa, leading to divestments of £120m pa, and a portfolio carrying a value of c£500m.
He has spent 9 years leading venture capital teams from target setting through to balance sheet responsibility.
Equity investments ranged from £100k to £35m in all investment circumstances from start-up to rescue investments.
He was a member of 3i UK Management Committee, responsible for the operational and strategic direction of c£800m pa UK venture capital investment.
