Deborah Carrillo

Deborah joined Menlo Ventures from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where she advised startups throughout their lifecycle, from formation to exit, as well as venture capital funds and corporate venture arms in their investments in startups and emerging growth companies.
While at Pillsbury, she represented Menlo Ventures as outside counsel on its portfolio investments.
Deborah earned a bachelors of science in math from Wheaton College outside Chicago, but settled in the Bay Area after earning her masters of education at Stanford University with a teaching credential in math.
Deborah holds a JD from Berkeley Law, where she served as an Executive Editor of the California Law Review.
