Don W. Carman

Mr. Don W.
Carman, Jr. CPA, is Vice President at Albany Financial Planners, Inc. Mr. Carman joined AFP in November 1984.
Over the years, he has been active in the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce, previously serving on the Board of Directors and as a Chairman of the Small Business Council.
He served on one of the Chamber’s community loan committees and is a graduate of the Capital Leadership program.
He has served on the statewide Board of Directors for NY Special Olympics and is a past chair of that organization’s Financial Planning Committee.
Mr. Carman has been a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York since 1979, having received both his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Accounting from the University at Albany.
In 1997, he was awarded a Certificate of Educational Achievement for Business Valuations by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
