Ed Venables joined Cognis in December 2005 as a Senior Analyst.
He is responsible for assisting the partners in the analysis all investment opportunities.
Before joining Cognis he was a senior high yield analyst at The Royal Bank of Scotland plc.
He specialised mainly in Telecoms, Media and Consumer credits.
Prior to analysing high yield credits Ed was a public equity analyst.
He began his career in 1997 covering the European Autos and Auto Parts sector at JP Morgan before moving to cover the Media Sector.
He has analysed the equity of European broadcasting, advertising and publishing companies at JP Morgan, HSBC and Bank of America.
Ed has an MA in Literae Humaniores from Oxford University.
