Mr. Gary George is Vice President at Hybridge Investment Management, Inc. He began his investment career in 1983 as an investment advisor with Mcleod Young Weir in Edmonton.
He transitioned to the institutional side of the capital in 1988 when he joined the highly regarded institutional equity boutique of Alfred Bunting and Company.
In his capacity as Institutional Sales for western Canada and the United States he developed and serviced the equity trading business of pension funds and other corporate clients.
In 1993, he joined the small capitalization specialist Marleau Lemire, relocating to Toronto to assume the role of Executive Vice President Institutional Sales and served as a member of the Management Committee, Commitments Committee and Board of Directors.
In 1996, he was recruited by Scotia Capital and returned to Vancouver as Director, Institutional Sales.
Prior to joining Hybridge, he acquired and managed Nahanni Manufacturing, a BC based heavy equipment manufacturer.
He joined Hybridge in 2011.

in Economics at University of Alberta.
