Iyala Alai

Iyala is on the investment team at M12, where she supports the team on deals in DevOps, Open Source, Autonomous Systems and Healthcare IT.
In this role she conducts due diligence into potential investment opportunities, including founder outreach, research, and building and cultivating Microsoft stakeholder relationships.
Iyala recently graduated from Yale with a B.A.
in Global Affairs and a minor in Chinese Language.
She was involved with startups on campus in many different capacities, which is how she became interested in venture capital.
She also has a strong interest in international relations, particularly trade and development in Sub-Saharan Africa, and hopes to bring this passion into her career someday.
