Mazotas is a Partner & Senior Analyst at Aristeia Capital LLC.
He joined Aristeia in July 2007 as an Analyst in the Information Management group and joined the Fundamental Research group in 2009, where he has been a Senior Analyst since 2011.
Mr. Mazotas became a Partner in January 2022.
His experience spans our equity and credit strategies, ranging from capital structure arbitrage to high yield and distressed credit.
He has led many highly successful investments including two that became Aristeia’s first co-investments.
Prior to joining Aristeia, Mr. Mazotas was a Senior Engineer at UTC Power.
Mr. Mazotas graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and received a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Finance from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
