Mr. James Castanino is Vice President at Global Environment Fund Management Corp.
Prior to joining GEF in 2006, Mr. Castanino worked in strategy and business development for American Express Co. in New York and London, where he helped to build and launch new businesses in Europe, Australia and the United States.
He also helped to lead due diligence for potential acquisitions and participated in several partner negotiations.
More recently, he helped to launch the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association, where he worked as a graduate student.
Mr. Castanino has a Master of Arts in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies, with a concentration in Energy and Environment.
He also holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in History from Harvard University.
