Jan Stam

Mr. Jan Stam, CFA, is Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operational Office at Aster-X Capital Management BV.
In 1985, he started working for the Internal Auditors Department and the Pension Fund of the Hoogovens Group (Corus; IJmuiden, Neth.).
In 1989 he became deputy head of the Compliance Department of the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
In 1997, he joined the Dutch broker Oudhof Effecten (Amsterdam) as managing director.
After the acquisition of Oudhof in 1998 by Kempen & Co, he became managing director of Kempen Capital Management, responsible for finance, operations and risk management.
In 2001, he joined the private investment company Talpa Capital (Hilversum, Neth.).
Mr. Stam left Talpa In 2002 to establish Aster-X Capital Management.
Mr. Stam graduated from the Free University of Amsterdam in 1986.
He obtained his chartered accountant degree in 1990 and his chartered financial analysis degree in 1993.
