Jürgen Wegner

Mr. Jürgen Wegner is a Chief Executive Officer at Vontobel Swiss Financial Advisers AG.
In January 2017, Mr. Wegner was appointed as CEO of Swiss Financial Advisers (acquired from UBS by Vontobel Holding AG in 2022), an SEC-registered investment advisor dedicated to exclusively serving US persons who wish to have an account outside the United States in order to diversify their assets geographically and invest in international markets and currencies.
Mr. Wegner has worked since 2004 in the finance industry and is also a qualified lawyer.
Previous professional assignments include being the Head of UBS Wealth Management APAC CH Business Management Team and Head of UBS DIFC Wealth Management office in Dubai.
Next to his primary task of managing the respective teams, he dedicated significant time to key clients, mainly during his stay in the Middle East.
Previous to UBS, Mr. Wegner worked as a Legal Advisor at Galadari & Associates in Dubai.
He dealt with civil and commercial law aspects for multinational companies.
Mr. Wegner did his studies of Law at the Universities of Kiel, Geneva and Munich.
